Engineer, Saudi Human Resources and Social Development Minister Dr. Ahmed Al-Rajhi and the Bangladeshi Minister of Overseas Employment and Expatriate Welfare, Asif Nazrul have signed on Monday an agreement to recruit general workers from Bangladesh.

Numerous officials and experts from both countries attended the signing ceremony. The agreement aims to regulate the contractual relationship between the parties, protect the rights of workers and employers, and establish a regulatory framework for all procedures necessary for Bangladeshi workers.
This comes within the framework of the Saudi ministry’s efforts to build and strengthen partnerships and international relations with its counterparts around the world, as well as to open new labor markets to ensure a balanced labor market, and explore areas of cooperation at all levels to achieve common goals and interests.

During the meeting, the two ministers talked about making it easier to work together to find and train skilled workers and making sure Bangladeshi expatriates in Saudi Arabia are taken care of and protected.
