Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineer & Electrical Technician in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

We are currently seeking experienced professionals for the following positions on a Tanjaul/Transfer Salary Basis. The work location is a factory in Dammam, and the salary will be determined after the interview.

Position 1: Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify existing equipment.
• Identify cost reductions and process improvements.
• Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment.

Essential Skills:

1. Knowledge of various types of pumps and rotary equipment.
2. Ability to select the appropriate motor and gearbox based on application needs.
3. Capability to select alternative motors and gearboxes if the exact type is unavailable.
4. Proficiency in drawing and reading electrical diagrams.
5. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact and convince customers.
6. Experience in performing preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes.
7. Expertise in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
8. Consulting on repair and safety-related issues.
9. Generating sales leads during service calls.
10. Completing necessary documentation.
11. Analyzing electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance with codes.
12. Directing and coordinating activities related to manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
13. Performing detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
14. Using computer-assisted engineering and design software for engineering tasks.
15. Preparing specifications for the purchase of electrical equipment and materials.
16. Supervising or training project team members as needed.
17. Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation purposes.

Position 2: Electrical Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes.
• Effectively communicate in English.
• Measure and report accurately.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and suggest solutions.
• Assemble and disassemble mechanical equipment.
• Complete all necessary documentation.
• Manage day-to-day site maintenance contracts for specific customers.
• Support modernization projects.
• Complete required reports and inspections.

What We Are Looking For:

• Apprentice-trained or equivalent, fully conversant with electrical engineering disciplines.
• Experience with 415v AC 3-phase motor contactor control circuits (both squirrel cage and wound rotor).
• Understanding of 110/48 volt relay and contactor circuits, with some experience in frequency speed control devices.
• Mechanical experience with medium to large drive couplings, brakes, and reduction gearboxes.
• Knowledge of risks associated with tasks, especially when working at heights.
• Preferably experienced with overhead cranes and hoists (full product training provided).
• Strong grasp of English (both verbal and written).
• Strong interpersonal skills, with extensive customer contact.
• Proven commitment to safety.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights.
• Willingness to work extra hours.

Additional Requirements:

• Candidates should have a background in the rotary equipment field.
