Application Process
First, we will start the application. Click on “Apply Now” to begin. The website link is in the description. Let’s start.
First, select your language. Prefer English and click next.
Select your location. Write Bangladesh. Select Bangladesh and click OK, then next.
“Apply for UK Visa Bangladesh”. Then, select the Bangladesh visa application centre, which is VFS Global. There are offices in Dhaka and Sylhet. Click next.
“Apply for UK Visit Visa”. See, you can use this service to apply for a UK Visit Visa for various reasons: for tourism, including visiting family and friends, for business, including sports and entertainment, for transit through the UK, for an academic visit, for marriage and civil partnership, for private medical treatment, and for other reasons. Select the one that applies to you and start the application.
Click “Start Now” to begin the application
It will ask if you want to take a test. If you wish to take a test for the UK, you can, but it is not mandatory. The website may automatically log you out after 25 minutes of inactivity, so be careful. Provide your email address. You will receive a link via email.
“Apply for a Visit Visa to the UK”. You will fill out the application form in English, answer in English, fill out the form, pay the fee, print the application form, sign it, attach your photo, and then book and attend an appointment at the visa application centre. First, select Dhaka or Sylhet. Let’s start.
Click “Start Now”.
First, you will see the steps to complete the application: Start Application, Document Declaration, and Download and Print.
First, register your email. Enter your email address and create a password for the UK application. Enter your email address fully and create a password.
Click “Save and Continue”.
Now you will see “Your Name”. Enter your name as per your passport. Enter the given name and family name.
Click “Save and Continue”.
“Any other names are you now, or have you ever been known by another name?” If you have a different name from your birth name or have changed your name, mention it. If not, select “No” and click “Save and Continue”.
“Your Home Address”. Enter your home address. Enter home address, town/city, province/state. If not applicable, write “N/A”. Enter postal code and country: Bangladesh. Enter the home address.
Click “Save and Continue”.
“Your Phone Numbers”. Enter your telephone number. For the mobile number, enter the country code and then your mobile number.
Click “Save and Continue”.
“If there is another telephone number?” If you have a personal telephone number, enter it. If not, click “Save and Continue”.
“Living at your home address”. For “How long have you lived at this address?” Enter how long you have lived at this address in days, weeks, months, years. For example, if you have lived for six months, or one year, five years, 10 years, 20 years, write it correctly.

See “What is the ownership status of your home?” See: I own it, I rent it, I live with my family, Other. Select the ownership status. If you live with your family, select “I live with my family”. Then click next.
Then, “Your Gender and Relationship Status”. What is your gender? OK, select male or female. Then, “What is your relationship status?” See the status: Single, Married, Unmarried, Divorced, Separated, etc. Select whatever applies to you correctly.
Click “Save and Continue”.
See “Your Nationality, Date and Country of Birth”. The country of nationality for all should be Bangladesh. Passport, enter date of birth, country of birth.
Click “Save and Continue”.
“Passport”. You must use your passport and travel document to complete this section. Passport, enter passport number, place of issue, issue date, and expiry date. Enter the information.
Click “Save and Continue”.
“Do you have another passport and travel document?” If you have another passport from another country, or have a previous passport, then enter the history. If you have a previous passport, enter the passport and travel document information, place of issue, and previous passport information. If you have no travel history, select “No”.
Click “Save and Continue”.
“National Identity Card”. Do you have a National Identity Card? OK, NID card. If yes, enter the NID card number. If you do not have an NID card, select “No”.
Click “Save and Continue”.
See “Your Employment Status”. What is your employment status? This is very important. Be careful. For example: Student, Student, Retired person, etc. Then, enter the required information. If employed, enter the employer’s name, employer’s address, office phone number, date you started working there, etc. If self-employed, enter the details.
See “Self-Employment”. What is your job? How much income? Prefer Great British Pound (GBP). See, it will be in Great British Pound. For a student, if a student, then income for the student, other regular income, savings, other regular income, other regular income, or regular money from your family, pension, investment, or other income. Whatever applies, proceed.
See “Other Regular Income Savings”. If you have no other income, then don’t enter anything.

“About the cost of the visit”. “How much money are you planning to spend on your visit to the UK?” So, for your UK visit, estimate how much your expenses will be. Calculate in Great British Pounds. If you plan to spend 5000 pounds, then enter that amount. See the section and enter.
“About your financial situation”. “What is the total amount of money you spend each month?” Enter your estimated monthly expenses.
Click “Save and Continue”.
“Will anyone be paying towards the cost of your visit?” So, for your UK visit, if someone else or a company is paying, select “Yes”. If not, select “No”.

“Your visit to the UK”. See, now enter your travel plan for the UK. Enter the date you plan to go.

“People financially dependent on you”. Children under 18 years, any children living with you at home, any children who are looked after, any older relatives, anyone you support. If you have any dependents, enter their information. Enter the name, date of birth, and passport, or if no passport, use the birth certificate. And if there are any other dependents, if not, select “No”.
Click “Save and Continue”.
“Give details about your first parent”. Meaning, information about your mother and father.
So, see, enter the required information: Name, Passport, Date of birth, and Nationality. If the same nationality, enter. Provide the mother’s and father’s information.
Click “Save and Continue”.
If not applicable, click “Save and Continue”.
“Family living in the UK”. “Do you have any family in the UK?” If any relatives live in the UK, then mention it. So, for immediate family, such as spouse, grandparents, if you have a spouse, your child, or your partner, if you have lived with them for two years or more. So, if your immediate family is in the UK, then enter the information. For immediate family, enter the information.
Enter the required information. For the immediate family who lives there, first enter, then see the relationship to you. See the relationships: Adopted Child, Brother, Brother-in-law, Child, Child Spouse, Daughter, Daughter-in-law, Father, Father-in-law, Grandchild, Grandparent, Husband, Mother, Mother-in-law, Parent, Sister, Stepchild, Stepparents, Step Sister and Brother, Unmarried Partner, Wife, etc. Enter the name and country of nationality: Great Britain, British, Bangladesh, etc. Enter, but if they have a passport number and are in the UK permanently, enter the passport number. Enter the details. “Where are you planning to stay in the UK?” If you are staying with a friend, other relative, or another person, enter the full name of the relative you are staying with, their name, and address. Enter the correct address, postcode. And if you are not staying with anyone, if staying in a hotel, select “No”.
Click “Save and Continue”.
Then, “Information about where you plan to stay in the UK”. If a hotel, enter the hotel name and details. “As possible, where you intend to stay, for example, in a hotel, private housing, or with friends.” Write in 500 characters. Write it.
Click “Save and Continue”.
“UK Travel History”. “How many times have you been to the UK in the last 10 years?” In the last 10 years, if you have been to the UK, enter the number. If you are applying for the first time, enter zero.
Click “Save and Continue”.
If you have been there once, then enter the information. Information about “Past visit to the UK”. What was the reason for the visit? Provide passport details, etc. If applying for the first time, enter zero.
Click “Save and Continue”.
“UK Visa Application”. See, next, the visa application. “In the last 10 years, have you been to the UK?” In the past 10 years, if you have applied before, proceed. If not, click next.
“International Travel History”. “How many times have you visited the following places in the past year: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the USA, and the Schengen Area?” The 26 Schengen Area countries. If you have been to any of these countries, then enter the number. If you have been to all countries once, or five times, etc. If you have not been to any, enter zero.
Click “Save and Continue”.
Now, again, see if you have visited Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the USA, Schengen Area. If you have been once or multiple times, then enter the information. Enter the information: Which country did you visit? Which country did you visit in the last 10 years? And when did you go? Enter the information, how many days you stayed. Enter the information.
If you have not been to any country, enter zero. Enter zero.
Click “Save and Continue”.
Then see, “Have you visited in the past 10 years: USA, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Schengen Area (26 European countries)?” If you have not been to any country, select “No”. If yes, then see which country. Write the country name. Now, when did you go? Enter the information, how many days, etc. Enter the information.
Travel history: if you have travel history, enter it. If not, click continue.
“Problems with immigration to the UK”. Next, for the UK application, if you have ever been refused, select “Yes”. If you have been deported, removed, enter it.
Click “Save and Continue”.
