Position: Safety Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a safe work environment, and developing and implementing effective safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures across all sites.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to ensure compliance.
• Identify potential hazards and risks, and propose corrective actions to mitigate them.
• Provide comprehensive safety training and orientation for all employees and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into project plans.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, determine their causes, and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed safety records and reports, ensuring they meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Safety Engineer within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Certification in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and lead teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
