Job Opportunity: Senior Engineer – Operational Scheduling

We are currently hiring for the position of Senior Engineer – Operational Scheduling with the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare loss adjustments according to loss-sharing procedures.
• Develop and issue daily and weekly operational plans for Control Engineers.
• Optimize and validate power exchange schedules by performing offline studies.
• Assist in analyzing proposed planned outages and finalizing the Annual Maintenance Plan.
• Process both planned and unplanned outage requests.
• Prepare and issue switching sequences for outages, restorations, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities across different sections and/or Member States.
• Monitor adherence to the annual maintenance plan and report on planned outages.
• Prepare “Outage Statistical Data” and assess the impact of outages on systems and equipment.
• Monitor and analyze system operations, including incidents and major events, using WAMS and DFR.
• Report on network losses, auxiliary consumption, and frequency oscillations.
• Coordinate short-term operational planning issues with Member States.
• Prepare statistical reports related to interconnected energy balance and exchanges.
• Review project Scope of Work, Technical Specifications, and consultant reports, providing feedback.
• Assist in preparing Summer & Winter reports and contingency plans.

Experience:

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
