Job Opportunity: Safety Engineer and Safety Officer for NWC Project

Positions Available:

1. Safety Engineer
   • Location: Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia
2. Safety Officer
   • Locations:
     • 2 Positions in Makkah (Arabic Speaking Required)
     • 1 Position in the Eastern Region

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and consultation to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with environmental/safety regulations.
• Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace.
• Participate in process safety studies, including PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, SIMOPs, incident investigations, compliance reviews, and insurance surveys.
• Review engineering designs for safety compliance.
• Conduct on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices.
• Perform construction site and area safety inspections.
• Conduct work permit reviews, behavior-based safety inspections, and job site safety compliance inspections.
• Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control systems and recommend improvements.
• Review and analyze injury, property damage, and loss data, and prepare recommendations for corrective action.
• Respond to emergency situations and incidents to provide technical assistance.
• Participate in safety educational programs, develop promotional materials, and deliver presentations.
• Act as a mentor to other OE/compliance engineers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety within infrastructure projects (confined spaces, road works, excavation).
• Must hold NEBOSH and other relevant certifications.
• NWC approval is a plus.
